HCC undertakes personal interviews as part of their recruitment process for certain posts that involve working with children and young people. The introduction of Values and Behaviours into our Performance Management and Development Scheme means that when conducting appraisals team members are assessed on 'how' they demonstrate the values and behaviours in their work, as well as 'what' they do to achieve their performance objectives. The values and behaviours are an integral part of the PMDS process and both are measured using ‘Outcomes’ at the end of year Appraisals.
