Resales Manager (9 months FTC)

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Resales manager to contribute to Peabody’s goals for growth the sale of Resident sales resale services.  Ensuring that sales targets are exceeded, sales revenues maximised with a minimal number of unsold homes.


Skills/Experience required

1. Previous sales management  experience  within resident  sales property sector (private sale and/or intermediate housing sector)
2. Managing relationships with all stakeholders including agents, solicitors and other third parties
3. An understanding of the newbuild affordable housing sector, Local Authority and HCA requirements in line with the Capital Funding Guide
4. Strong administrative and organisational skills
5. Proven leadership skills with strong influencing and negotiation skills and a persuasive and articulate communicator
6. Strong people management skills, ability to lead, motivate and performance manage 
7. Setting, monitoring and managing sales targets
8. Budget setting and monitoring 
9. A persuasive and articulate communicator
10. Ability to work under pressure and manage high volume numbers of sales in the new build industry
11. Proven experience managing external stakeholders
12. Highly organized, solution-focused problem solving skills, able to work under pressure in a dynamic sales environment and manage high volume of projects and deadlines 
13. Experience of delivering excellent customer service within Sales team 
14. Committed to developing, managing and delivering high quality customer-driven services, demonstrating best practice, and achieving best value
15. Significant and demonstrable experience developing marketing strategies that segment the target market
16. Ability to work with minimal supervision and to deliver quickly
17. Previous line management experience; strong people management skills, ability to lead, motivate and performance manage 
18. Effective budget setting and monitoring; ability to deliver value for money
19. Highly organized and able to work under pressure in a dynamic sales environment and manage high volume of projects and deadlines 
20. Working knowledge of and proven experience ensuring compliance with Data Protection laws, the Consumer Code and other relevant legislation 
21. Excellent numerical skills
22. Have a full understanding of sales processes and legislation, particularly the Consumer Code
23. To have a proven track record of Sales Management. Proven ability to meet targets and respond positively to pressure.
24. Excellent written and spoken English skills
25. .Experience of Northgate, Swordfish , Kodeine and other housing software.
