We have an exciting opportunity for a Architectural Technician to join our Architecture & Design Team.
About the role
Brighton & Hove City Council is delivering a wide range of new build and refurbishment schemes for both internal and external clients across the City.
The ‘In-house’ Architecture & Design Team is responsible for designing and contract administering most of these projects, including a major programme of 800 new affordable homes within the next four years together with extensions and alterations to some of the City's secondary and special schools
The self-financed team currently consists of twelve Architects and Technicians, being part of the Council’s Property & Design Service and is now looking to expand due to increased workload.
We are seeking to recruit two qualified Architectural Technician's, who have experience of working on residential and education projects and who are fully proficient in using 2D and 3D CAD software, such as ‘Autodesk’ AutoCAD and Revit and also graphics software, such as ‘Adobe’ Photoshop
