Social Worker (Prevention and Assessment)

Social worker HBC 7/8 

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a social worker within fast paced care management teams that focuses on the assessment, support planning and safeguarding Halton residents. The post is based in Municipal Building in Widnes and the team provides support to Residents in the Runcorn and Widnes area.

A new Social Worker post based within the care management teams to progress the current agenda for change within Social Work teams. An understanding of current legislation and model of working is essential. The post is going to be focused on strengths based work and assist with the placed based approaches.

Halton Borough Council value the professional development of social workers highly and there will be a range of training and development options available to the successful candidate.

Candidates must hold a current HCPC registration. The role requires an enhanced DBS.
