Thirty London boroughsjointly commission and participate in the London Smoking CessationTransformation Programme (LSCTP). Establishedin 2016 the Programme works alongside London boroughs to transform and improvethe way their residents access stop smoking support.
About the role
We are looking for someone whowill bring excellent commissioning and partnership skills, alongside a passion reducingpreventable health inequalities.
This is an excitingopportunity for someone with a keen interest in public service reform and transformation. You will be responsible for shaping new andexciting developments across services including digital, telehealth and public campaignsto support Londoners’ quit smoking as we work towards a smoke free London.
You will provide projectmanagement for all aspects of the Programme and will ensure services aredelivered on time and within budget. Thisrole provides the opportunity to be innovative in how services are designed anddelivered, as well as apply creative thinking on stakeholder participation andpartnerships. You will be crucial tocreating and maintaining focus, enthusiasm and momentum.
About the team
You will join a small,friendly and sociable team, hosted by the London Borough of Tower HamletsPublic Health team near Canary Wharf. You will have day to day support from the London Director of PublicHealth Lead for smoking cessation and tobacco control. You will also work closely with Directors ofPublic Health and Local Authority commissioning leads across London
Conveniently located close tothe DLR at Tower Hamlets Council Town Hall, Mulberry Place, 5 Clove Crescent,London E14 2BG with the possibility of occasional working from home.
