It’s a job with a lot of responsibility for keeping information safe. Located in the Housing and Regeneration Directorate - our department’s decision-making hub - it’s a place to make your mark and shine.
You’ll be kept busy with an interesting range of work primarily focussed on processing our department’s Freedom of Information (FOI) and subject access requests (SAR), as well as assisting senior management with complaint handling and carrying out central support tasks for the wider department.
You will have:
- first-rate organisational and administrative skills
- the ability to work in a busy office whilst paying attention to detail and producing work of consistently high standard.
- good communication skills
- a strong commitment to customer service and
- an understanding of the importance of confidentiality
You will need an understanding of the Freedom of Information and the Data Protection Acts and it would be beneficial if you had a working knowledge of applying for exemptions. We’d also welcome experience of complaint handling, minute taking and dealing with queries from the public; but, equally, we’re happy to train the right person.

Successful applicants will start at £29,738 per annum (£17,347.16 pro-rata)
