We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to work as an advanced practitioner in our Professional Standards Team. The successful candidate will ensure the highest quality of professional social care practice is delivered across the NHS and Wirral Health and Care Commissioning in line with legislation , policies , procedures and best practice. This role will be key in developing and maintaining a quality improvement and learning framework for Adult Social Care.
Wirral Health and Care Commissioning is a strategic partnership between NHS Wirral Clinical Commissioning Group and Wirral Council.
The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator with experience of leading professional standards and quality improvements and be capable of producing written and analytical reports. You must have the ability to manage your own workload, have excellent organisational skills and be a confident self-directed individual. Working with and supporting colleagues as part of a team approach is an essential requisite of this role. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills when liaising with individuals and their carers, and staff both internally and externally. You will have a proven track record in promoting and demonstrating ant discriminatory practice.
You will be a registered social worker who has experience of leading on complex cases and of providing support to colleagues in such complex cases. You will have an excellent knowledge base of current and forthcoming legislation.
Above all you will be looking to improve the way we engage with our employees/residents/customers to ensure they are at the heart of everything we do.
