Senior Debt Resolution Officer

OneSource Enforcement Services is a shared serviced partnership between The London Borough of Newham and the London Borough of Havering. This in-house Enforcement Team, operates within the M25 and is responsible for the collection of a variety of Council debts, including Council Tax, Road Traffic and Business Rates.

Senior Debt Resolution Officer

£31,548 pa - £33,291 pa pro rata

Fixed Term for 1 year

You will be required to manage a team of debt resolution offiers who's main function is

to conduct outbound telephone collections to debtors in order to

secure payment from defaulters. You will also be required to answer correspondence

from debtors along with dealing with e-mail and incoming telephone enquiries.


This is a part time role. The working hours are 5 to 9 pm, 3 evenings per week and

Saturdays 8 am to 2 pm.

You will be required to have excellent  managerial skills and manage a team that  conduct outbound telephone calling to secure payment from defaulters. You will have experience of debt collection, and have worked in the same or similar environment. You should have the ability to deal with difficult calls, and have good written and verbal skills and experience  in managing a team
