We are looking for an innovative and solution focussed Web & Content Development Advisor to work with our Family Information Service (FIS) to ensure families in Surrey are able to access information and support to keep themselves healthy, safe and knowledgeable about the opportunities available to them. Family Safeguarding, an innovative and highly effective approach, developed in Hertfordshire will be central to our new model.
The FIS plays a critical role within the wider Early Help Hub and provides a crucial front-facing service that supports the effective delivery of the right services at the right time for our children, young people and their families.
You will use your knowledge and experience of website content management to ensure that the FIS digital offer is easy to use by all (including families, partners and practitioners), meets legal accessibility standards and is optimised for search engines. Your understanding of how to interpret web analytics and behavioural insights will support the development of future web content.
This is a practical, frontline support service opportunity, where you will work closely with our multi-agency partners to inform the advice you give and the decisions you make. Effective communication will be essential to your success, as will the ability to listen and engage. Your passion for maintaining high standards will ensure that critical information and advice materials are kept up to date for colleagues, partners and other professionals to access.

To be successfully shortlisted for this role, you will have:
- Experience of using web content management systems
- A good understanding of the principles of search engine optimisation (SEO)
- Experience communicating with service users, colleagues and partners in an information or advisory role; ideally within a local authority environment or can evidence how your previous experience would lend itself to this
