This is an incredibly exciting time for Shelter as the entire organisation is rallying behind our ambitious strategy to end the housing emergency. To enable this strategy to become a reality, we have developed a new Income Generation plan that will see us significantly increase our annual income over the next three years. But, we need someone like you to support the delivery of this plan by helping us to integrate our ways of working.
Join us, and you could soon be working closely with colleagues in all areas of our Income Generation Directorate. That means Individual Giving, High Value Partnerships, Community & Events, Retail, Digital Fundraising and Data Management & Insight. You’ll also regularly liaise with teams from across Shelter, including Marketing, Media, Creative, Digital, Finance and Services. In short, you’ll project manage a variety of organisation-wide/ cross-directorate/ projects from inception, right through to completion. Establishing project teams, creating project plans and budgets, writing business cases and suggesting improvements to processes and ways of working – all are aspects of this interesting and varied role
To succeed, you’ll need to be a dynamic project manager with proven experience of co-ordinating multiple workstreams and keeping complex projects on track. You’ll also need excellent interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude, and the confidence to manage a wide range of stakeholders. Adept at monitoring and evaluating performance and using knowledge gained to bring significant improvements, crucially, you’re great at handling a diverse range of tasks simultaneously and have what it takes to get things done.
