Technical Professional Officer (Information Management and Business Intelligence

The North East Lincolnshire Council Information team is looking to recruit to the post of Technical Professional Officer – Information Management and Business Intelligence. This is a full time – fixed term post to 31st March 2020.

As the successful post holder, you will undertake a wide range of work including system maintenance; data preparation; analysis and presentation; training and research. You will have the opportunity to develop specialist skills and knowledge in areas of work such as Education and Children’s social care alongside more general work such as supporting system users to resolve issues.

As a centralised team we contribute across all areas of the council’s outcomes framework. Working closely with others in the team you will be providing cover for a variety of key tasks that enable front line services to record, monitor, analyse and report their activity. While some work is regular, such as statutory returns to government bodies much of the work is irregular e.g. inspection support and service desk work.

As an applicant you will need to have an eye for detail and accuracy. You should be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to develop new skills, be adaptable to change and preferably have some practical knowledge of key IT systems relevant to children and families in North East Lincolnshire Council but you will be given the full training and support necessary to carry out your role.
