The Post

We are currently recruiting to our Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP). EIP is an exciting area to work in as it is at the forefront of mental health research and aligned to deliver evidence based care for those experiencing First Episode Psychosis. If you are looking for a new challenge where you will be able to make a real difference supporting the recovery of young people/ adults then this is the job for you.

The Person

We are looking for team players who are passionate about early intervention and who are able to place service users at the centre of their care. The successful applicant will hold of caseload of individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis, ranging in age from 14-35 years of age. The successful candidate will be committed to working with individual's strengths in order to maximise autonomy and to deliver NICE concordant care for First Episode Psychosis.

Mental Health Services in Brent are provided in integrated teams managed by Central North West London Mental Health Trust in partnership with the Local Authority. Social Care is firmly embedded in the service and social workers have a clear identity supported by Senior Social Care Staff within the team and Social Work Forums. Social Work expertise is highly valued within the multi-disciplinary team and opportunities for training and development are available both through the Local Authority and Trust.
We are actively recruiting AMHPs at present and the AMHP role is well embedded and supported within the service.
