Repairs Modernisation Manager (Adur Homes) - Temporary Position until 31st March 2022
Salary: Starting from £48,078 to £52,852 per annum

Adur Homes is recruiting a manager to lead in reviewing and reforming the Direct Labour Organisation. The successful candidate will lead a key service for the council through an important period of change, enhancing customer experience of the repairs process. The post holder will implement objectives in existing improvement plans and ensure continuous improvement.
Significant experience of repairs and maintenance delivery and excellent knowledge of good housing practice and housing legislation is a key requirement. The successful candidate will need to sustain relationships with a range of stakeholders, (e.g. external contractors, suppliers and repairs ‘client’ side).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential as you will have responsibility for a team of over 20 staff, (repairs operatives, administrators & supervisory/managerial) and liaise with diverse stakeholders internally, repairs managers (client and contractor side) and external contractors.
Key responsibilities for this role include; running a property repairs service, improving the performance management culture; sustaining the health and safety regime and improving both the customer experience journey for the repairs service.
