Contract: Permanent, Full time - 36 hours per week

Homes for Haringey have a fantastic opportunity for a determined and inspirational Financial Controller to join our Finance Team. We are looking for a leader to be the strategic lead on all financial matters for Homes for Haringey.

This role will see you make a significant contribution to developing and coordinating the strategic direction of Homes for Haringey, providing leadership and advice in terms of sound budget management, finance strategy and value for money.

We are looking for a strong leader with a track record of successfully managing a finance operation within a large organisation. You will be driven and an excellent communicator with the ability to provide advice and financial guidance to the business as a whole. You will be CCAB qualified (or equivalent) and, ideally, have an understanding of local authority finance.

You will possess an outward looking approach with the ability to anticipate and prepare for change effectively and efficiently. You will be proficient in working across teams, directorates and organisations to achieve the best outcome for our residents, Homes for Haringey and for the Council. You will be a collaborative team player who is used to working within a formal governance structure. You will be comfortable and confident in challenging budget holders to control and manage resources effectively.
