We are seeking an enthusiastic individual for this role of a Multi-Trade Carpenter Apprentice!

The role of Multi-Trade Carpenter Apprentice will involve supporting the Multi-Trade Operative or Team Planner, as well as liaising with customers and colleagues to arrange repairs work.

Responsibilities will include diagnosing faults, carrying out and supporting with repairs work, and ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standard, while remaining cost effective. This role is key, as you will support the repairs team to maintain our social housing properties for our residents.

About the Apprentice

Previous experience working in a team would be an excellent fit for this position.

You will be working with a range of employees, across all areas of the organisation, as well as external contacts such as our residents, so it is essential that you have excellent communication skills, to allow you to develop contacts and relationships with customer and client groups. You will also have the opportunity to identify and suggest improvements to current ways of working, in order to deliver a more efficient and effective services for customers.

The Multi-Trade Operative Apprentice is a key role, and we are looking for somebody who can work flexible hours where required. The work is varied with a range of challenges - but you will also be rewarded by seeing the direct impact your role will have on the lives of our residents.
