The role of Programme Lead - Revenue is to manage the portfolio of high-profile and strategically important revenue programmes across the council, ensuring that they are initiated effectively and delivered according to time, quality and cost, and that benefits are realised. As part of this you will ensure that senior managers are assured on the performance of revenue programmes and how they are contributing to the achievement of the Borough Plan. You will also develop a wider community of practice for capital programme managers that builds capability by sharing tools, templates and guidance. The post holder will manage a small team and undertake matrix management throughout the division ensuring that there is consistent approach to revenue programme management in place.
You will have a good understanding of programme management tools and methodologies and a strong focus on effective programme delivery. You will be able to quickly establish strong working relationships and credibility with delivery teams as well as with senior managers.
Your role will occasionally involve travel outside of the borough but you will also be able to balance your hobbies and interests with a healthy work/life balance thanks to our flexible working policy.
