We are looking for a committed and experienced Project Support Officer to work within the Council’s Employment, Learning and Skills division. The successful candidate will provide support across the ESF Ways to Work.
Working under the direction of the one of the Service Managers, the postholder will work within a small team taking and recording enquiries, confirming eligibility for support ensuring the Ways to Work project achieves its outputs and results.
The successful will produce funding claims and audited records of employment and skills support interventions (outputs) including any job outcomes. This includes labelling and filing all financial and other project information to support intermittent EU and Accountable Body Audits and ensuring the storage of project records is consistent with the Halton Borough Council Retention Policy.
Liaison with other relevant departments within Halton Borough Council, including departments responsible for Finance, Audit and Procurement.
You will need to fully demonstrate knowledge, skills and understanding for the role.
