Divisional Manager - Inclusion 0-25 Years

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, highly motivated and determined individual who can lead in developing high quality, flexible and inclusive services for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in Halton.

As the Strategic Lead for Inclusion 0-25 service you will be responsible for working with key partners to develop a coherent and integrated approach to SEND which will improve the lives and opportunities of children and young people in Halton. 

You will need to be educated to degree level and trained or qualified in SEND with proven experience of successfully working with or in settings with SEND. Leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential for this role along with experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team.

With extensive and detailed knowledge of the codes of practice, legislation and policy development within this specialist area, you will drive forward the improvements identified following a recent independent review of SEND in Halton.

As a key strategic lead you will lead, inspire, challenge and support the development of SEND in Halton. You will play a key role in promoting integrated working across education, health and social care, championing inclusion and the development of effective co-production with parents and carers, children and young people.
