Are you someone with a keen interest in improving the safety of local communities and in helping tackle anti-social behaviour? Are you good at working in partnership with others to deliver results?   Are you looking for a role where you will have an opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives?

At Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, we have established a successful partnership approach to community safety and enforcement that is delivering positive results on the ground.   We are now looking to appoint someone with experience in community safety, enforcement and partnership working, to bring further improvements to our approach and help us build on the positive progress already made. In return you will be provided with an opportunity to learn and develop in a role that is full of interest, variety and autonomy.

You will have the opportunity to use your experience from working in the fields of community safety, law enforcement and partnership working to help drive forward these important statutory areas and be encouraged to develop alternative approaches, new ways of working and innovation to maximise the benefit to the public.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive organisation in a borough consistently judged as one of the best places to live in the country. If you want to see what working for us is like see our short video located at

Although this is a full time post, it is important that we get the right person, so we will consider applications from those wanting to work fewer hours.

Due to the nature of the role you will be required to submit for a basic DBS check.

In return you will benefit from a competitive salary, 24 days annual leave rising to 29 after 5 years of service, entitlement to join the local government pension scheme, non-contributory life assurance, subsidised gym membership and heavily subsidised car parking.
