We are looking to appoint 2, full time, fixed term Family until 31 March 2021, Family Engagement Workers who will support the operational delivery of the High Impact Families Programme. The post holders will provide interventions to families who meet the programme’s criteria. Work will include assessing, reviewing, providing focused interventions and working alongside a range of agencies and support services. We are looking to appoint staff committed to delivering a range of interventions and, you must have experience in delivering parenting programme interventions, with an outcome focus. Family outcomes are recorded using our Early Help Module therefore; competency in the use of ICT is required. You should be a highly effective negotiator, able to work confidently and innovatively within a multi-agency environment.  You will bring enthusiasm and be able to establish credibility with a range of professionals who also work with the families.  You must also have a passion for finding solutions, be up for a challenge and be prepared to try different ways of doing things to get results. Applicants need to have NVQ level 3/4 or other appropriate qualifications, experience and skill in supporting/managing service delivery to families. Applicants should note that the post may require some evening and occasional weekend work.                                                 Posts are currently fixed term but may be extended subject to continuation of government funding.                                                                                                                 North Somerset are an authority committed to using the Signs of Safety, strengths based, safety organised approach to child protection and early help casework.
