The role

Utilising your property maintenance experience, you’ll identify repairs, diagnose defects and advise customers whilst ensuring adherence to both health & safety and quality guidelines. You’ll also oversee a patch of mixed tenure properties, managing work to agreed financial limits. You’ll complete damage inspections and inspection reports for medical referrals. You’ll also provide an out of hours service – including technical advice, guidance or instructions – and liaise with relevant parties regarding shared ownership services. You’ll be responsible for referring complex plant maintenance works, costing out rechargeable works, assisting with customer complaints and participating in estate inspections. You will carry out surveys and assist the Area Repairs Manger in updating procedures.


Key requirements

You are passionate about delivering excellent customer experience by being reliable and empathetic in your approach. You will have demonstrable experience of working in the property maintenance field with a thorough understanding of building principles, components and materials, property surveys diagnosis and remedial action. You will be able to diagnose repairs, draw up specifications and use your expertise to problem solve. You will have a working knowledge of H&S legislation.
