The Housing Solutions Team are looking for a highly motivated person to provide senior housing project support. We are involved with a wide range of housing functions including preventing and dealing with homelessness, housing advice services, housing assessment/choice-based lettings, developing housing strategy and policy, enabling the development of affordable housing and commissioning e.g. housing needs assessments/contracts.
You must be enthusiastic, have a flexible attitude to deal with changing priorities and have experience of policy development and research, procurement, developing service level agreements, client management and monitoring of contracts.
You will also have excellent IT, communication and organisation skills and experience of working in a team environment. You must have confidence in working within a local authority and giving advice and assistance to senior staff, teams, elected members, as well as residents and partner agencies.
