Job Title: Admin Support Officer
Location: Farnham House Stevenage
Salary Range: £18,795 to £20,344 pa (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Team:  Community Commissioning - Adult Disabilities, Adult Care Service

Job Duties:                         

We are recruiting for Support Officer within the Community Commissioning Adult. Disabilities team to support across the team. This is an exciting opportunity, within the ACS Commissioning Team aligned to the Adults Disabilities Service, working across all the teams’ activities which include:

  • Strategic commissioning of Supported Living, Residential Care and Day Opportunities.
  • Ensuring quality of services through the Monitoring Team.
  • Sourcing support solutions through the Community Solutions Team.

This role will involve working closely with a range of internal and external colleagues to improve the working of the team. With your colleagues you will support the team by improving and implementing the team’s business processes, this will include:

  • Managing and scheduling team commitments appointments and minuting meetings.
  • Using Office software, managing databases, and using Social care information systems to support the team.

Ideally you will have some knowledge of Social Care or working in complex organisations/businesses with multiple stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate; being a competent administrator with experience of using Microsoft Office, someone who is confident to be the first point of contact for Managers and possess excellent customer care skills. You will be able to liaise with providers to gather information as requested.

You will need to show in your supporting statement how you meet the criteria of the role against the person specification area of the attached Job Description.
