Commercial Support Advisor

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic commercial supportadvisor to join the procurement team in a supporting role. You will have excellent communication and analytical skills, demonstrate strong ICT skills and be able to prioritise and co-ordinate your work to meet deadlines.

You will contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of procurement functions, through advice, support and system administration. You will contribute to the development of procurement plans through the collation, validation and analysis of a range of procurement data as well as undertaking research in relation to market and supplier trends.

This post supports the procurement team and acts as a key contact to a range of clients and stakeholders, providing procurement support and advice to both internal and external customers, determining their requirements and offering solutions.

An understanding of procurement processes, procedures and systems is desirable but not essential. More importantly, you will have an interest and willingness to learn and develop within the role and have an interest in a procurement career.

Your main base will be the municipal offices Grimsby, although you will enjoy the benefits of an agile environment.

The post would suit someone who is looking for a development opportunity.
