Infrastructure Engineer MDM

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Infrastructure Engineer MDM to join the ICT team working across Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough councils reporting into the Head of ICT.

The Infrastructure Engineer will:

Build, Configure and maintain Mobile Devices within the existing infrastructure in      accordance with department standards

Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners,) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards

Provides advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incident

Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance

Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software applications or network systems

Identify potential changes and system improvements to present to senior team leaders for consideration and implementation

Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines

Create, maintain, and distribute reports of progress to senior leadership

Work within an Agile environment

The Infrastructure Engineer MDM will have:

  • Local or Central Government experience.
  • knowledge of MDM Systems including IBM MaaS360, BES UEM, Android (to version 10), iOS (to version 13), SandBlast, Odin
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows 7 and 10, Mac OSX, Windows Server products and/or Apple Operating Systems, MS Office products to Office 365, Onedrive, MS Azure
  • Active Directory and group policy experience.
  • SCCM - SCOM experience.
