Business Improvement and Transformation Manager

Business Services and Support Services are the enabling service within Birmingham Children’s Trust supporting the vital work our Social Care staff undertake improving the lives of Children Young People and Families.

The Trust has made significant progress improving the services to the City’s Young Children Young People and Families reflected in an improved OFSTED rating.  The Trust is developing and investing in new areas of its business as part of it’s ongoing development journey which requires all areas of the business to work differently.

We are therefore looking for an experienced Business Improvement and Transformation Manager who can bring our change programme into a single journey, establish the right resources and standards to ensure we deliver change in a consistent way and champion LEAN process redesign.   Alongside this you will drive a programme of business improvement, ensuring we are as efficient and effective as possible, putting a digital aproach at the heart of the way we do things.  Benefits management and embedding change (bringing the organisation with us) is critical to ensure the best outcomes of Children Young People and Families.

We are looking for someone who has significant experience of managing large scale organisational change, has experience of redesigning end to end, complex processes and running a PMO function.  You will ensure a focus remains on quality and the right outcomes and benefits for the organisation, building an evidence based and transparent approach.  You must have great stakeholder and people management skills and be able to work in partnership to ensure the benefits to customers is at the heart of our redesign.  You will be able to demonstrate the Trusts values of One Team, Accountability and Responsibility, Quality and Innovation, Relationships and High Support High Challenge.
