An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Adult Social Care’s new Self-Directed Support team.
These new posts have been created to support social care clients, carers and families who receive social care support via a Direct Payment and/or an Individual Service Fund. You will be responsible for reconciling client accounts, calculating balances and producing an audit report highlighting any variances and re-claims. The role will also include processing and payment of care bills for these clients.
The successful applicants will have experience of working in a finance setting, with excellent numeracy skills. An ability to demonstrate attention to detail, and manage and prioritise your own workload is essential, as is experience of using Microsoft Office products, and an ability to learn new I.T. systems.
You must have experience of delivering a customer focused service and be able to communicate with vulnerable adults, as well as building partnerships with internal and external agencies.
We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, can demonstrate a flexible and positive attitude and an ability to work from their own initiative with minimal supervision.
