We have an exciting opportunity for two Research and Data Analysts to support the delivery of our new Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy and Camden 2025 Plan.
The successful candidates will take a leading data role in improving homelessness services across the Council and delivering change across the key priorities of the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy, as well as ensuring our housing allocations and placement scheme achieves the strategic aims set for it. You will manage, analyse, interpret and report data in an accessible format to measure effectiveness of services and prepare performance reports for submission to central government. You will ensure business continuity through the effective running of data systems supporting the Council’s Housing Allocation Scheme and homelessness placements. You will also train and coach staff on the importance of data and how to use systems, and shadow front line staff to understand the user perspective.
The successful candidates will make intelligent use of data and use research to help inform decision making and improve service delivery.
To be considered for one of these fantastic opportunities it is essential the successful candidates have obtained GSCE Maths and Englsh (grade 4-9). You will possess demonstrable previous experience in a similar post providing a significant contribution to evidence-based policy making through effective use of research and intelligent use of data and information. You will have strong data, research, analysis and performance management skills and be adept at managing large datasets alongside excellent report writing skills. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyse and present data to a range of audiences. Additionally you will be comfortable speaking to residents and homeless people to ask about their views on services or interviewing landlords. Although this post is based in Housing Needs (homeless prevention) you will also work with homeless related services across the Council and with our partners on data, research and consultation/engagement related projects. You will be able to adapt to different environments and teams across the Council.
