Sefton Council is looking for two outstanding Children’s Social Care Service Managers

Your new role

Post 1

Corporate Parenting Service, reporting to the Head of Service for Children’s Social Care you will be responsible for ensuring that you deliver high quality, cost effective services for Looked After Children, Care Leavers and our Fostering Service.

Post 2

Social Work Locality Service, reporting to the Head of Service for Children’s Social Care you will be responsible for ensuring that you deliver high quality, cost effective services for children and young people in need of help and protection and those who are looked after.

What you’ll need to succeed

You be a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England

You will be an exceptional leader with a proven track record in the management of statutory social work.

You will be committed to the professional development of yourself and others including the ability to coach and direct people and also be able to showcase your skills in budgetary management and control.
