Role Purpose

Quality Assurance Manager Grade: PO6 Salary: £46,293 - £49,203 per annum incl of LW This is avery exciting time for our children’s services and we need committed individualsto support us in the delivery of these aims and to become part of our growingteam to make a difference to our children and families. We are looking for aqualified social work leader who is deeply committed to improving outcomes forvulnerable children and their families and will go the extra mile to effectchange. You will have substantial knowledge of the legislation and statutoryresponsibilities that underpin Children's Social Care, including appropriateperformance indicators and quality standards; possessing a unique ability toconvert this knowledge into operational learning opportunities to enhance theworkforce knowledge. You will have excellent frontline practice skills; soundmanagement experience in children's social care; the ability to analyse complexinformation and use this to support improvement in practice; a positivecommunicator who can collaborate, influence, challenge with excellent verbaland written skills.

As a Quality AssuranceManager, you will work closely with the Principal Social Worker and the Academyto lead and implement the Quality Assurance Framework. You will be expected towork with Academy to engage in remedial action and ensure learning as a resultof the audit activities.
