Woodlands Governing Body wish to appoint an inspirational KS2 teacher in Y5, to join our highly-skilled and dedicated team from 1 September 2020. The role will initially be on a temporary 12-month contract, with a view to extending or making permanent.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic classroom practitioner and a dynamic individual with the drive and determination to inspire children, families and colleagues. They will be passionate about teaching and highly motivated to ensure the very best possible outcomes for the children in their care. They will thrive and enjoy working within a team, sharing ideas, planning and have a wish to develop themselves. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers for this post.
Woodlands Primary School is a 2.5 form entry setting, with keen and lovely children, supportive parents, strong Governance and a positive staff culture.

As it won’t be possible to observe teachers in their own setting or invite them to teach a lesson at Woodlands, each candidate may be required to complete a task, further information will follow after shortlisting. The interviews may take place virtually, more details will be provided nearer the time.
Woodlands Primary School places the highest priority on the safeguarding of children and all applicants will follow a stringent vetting and induction process. As this post involves contact with, and access to children, it will therefore be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the outcome of this check.
