We currently have two Senior Family Hub Practitioner vacancies, one full-time permanent position and one full time, fixed term contract for one year.

We are looking for two vibrant and motivated Senior Family Hub Practitioners to work within the Early Help Service supporting the Area Manager in delivering a 0-19 (25 with SEND) integrated service.
You will provide high quality supervision and line management of case holding early help practitioners and Early Years Family practitioners working across the age range and staff delivering a range of targeted group work and outreach services to young children and their families.
You will have a sound understanding of managing risk and experience of working using a multi-agency approach.
The successful candidate will have experience of developing and modelling best practice in relation to Team around the Family/School/Children’s Centres within the service and with partner agencies.
The Senior Family Hub Practitioner will supervise and line manage a team of practitioners in one locality in line with the supervision policy, escalating issues of concern for management review and decision making as required.
They will be responsible for ensuring effective risk management, comprehensive assessments and outcomes focused plans are in place.
Their role will be to further develop and model best practice in relation to Team around the Family/School/Children’s Centres within the service and with partner agencies.
They will continue to embed the systemic framework for practice within the service and support practitioners to embed systemic skills in order that they are effective in creating changes for families through mobilising their strengths.
As part of their role they will ensure the service is contributing to delivery of the healthy child programme and the wider healthy families, healthy communities programme as well as supporting early years education and school readiness.
We work in partnership with Hampshire County Council (HCC) who deliver many transactional services on our behalf. Although most communications will be from HCC, all selection and appointment decisions will be made by RBKC. Certain services are shared across more than one Council area to nearby neighbouring Authorities. This enhances delivery and reduces costs.
