You will be expected to provide an efficient and effective enforcement regime to deal with breaches of planning control and untidy land. This will involve information gathering, monitoring sites to compile evidence, issuing notices and pursuing prosecutions where necessary.
You will need to be an effective communicator who has an aptitude for managing conflict, problem solving and keeping appropriate records as well as undertaking the preparation of evidence for legal case work.
You should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in dealing with the legislation and its enforcement/
Due to the nature of the work, it may be necessary to work irregular hours. A full current driving licence and use of your own vehicle is required for which a casual car allowance is payable.
