Salary: £19,312 - £19,698 per annum pro rata, plus unsociable hours premium
Hours: 2 x positions available - 1 x 24.94 hours per week and 1 x 28.44 hours per week
Base Location: Priory House, Shefford

The Staff in Our Urgent Homecare Falls Response Service provide support to people living in their own homes who have experienced a fall. Become an Urgent Response Worker, and you’ll find your greatness by helping those who need support following a fall or sudden decline in health.
You will need to be comfortable taking the initiative as you will often be supporting people in their own homes and will be responding to their personal needs. For this invaluable role, you’ll step in at just the right moment and provide warm support when people feel most vulnerable you will put their needs at the heart of everything they do That means you’ll be there for them every step of the way, from helping to prepare meals and doing household shopping, to more providing personal care including support a person with their dressing, bathing, or taking medicines. And when you believe more specific help is required, you’ll liaise with social workers or other professionals to ensure our residents receive the very best service.
To join us, you’ll be a self-starter, passionate about supporting people to live the best life they can, you will enjoy working as a team and you will be comfortable working without supervision. Whilst no qualifications are required as training will be provided an NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent qualifications or experience) would be useful. This is a fulfilling, rewarding career that’ll see you become a lifeline for those you support. You will be required to work to a four-week rota to include AM shifts (7am to 2pm) and PM shifts (1.45pm to 10pm). Alternate weekend working is also required. You will need to have a full driving licence. A vehicle is provided whilst on duty. A driving assessment will take place as part of the interview process.
