An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and creative Support Officer to join the Quality Assurance and Safeguarding Team. This is a brand-new post and key to implementing the Quality Assurance Framework in adult social care North Somerset Council.


Quality Assurance within adult social care is overseen by a dedicated Principal Social Worker, a Principal Occupational Therapist and the Service Leader for Quality Assurance and Safeguarding.


You will work under the supervision of the Principal Occupational Therapist and Principal Social Worker for Adult Social Care. You will support the development of robust systems and processes which will enable us to implement and embed a brand-new Quality Assurance Framework designed to ensure the best possible outcomes for people with care and support needs.


You will have a proven track record of applying a wide range of organisational, analytical and administrative skills to help support the development of new systems and projects. Among other duties, you will use your outstanding ICT skills to collect, collate and support the analysis of a range of qualitative and quantitative data using Microsoft Office software.
