We’re looking to recruit experienced Stores Person to be a part of our DLO Direct services team. You’ll manage all stock and equipment control to a high standard and ensure stock is of a high quality based on Optivo’s specifications.

Duties will include:

You’ll manage all stock and equipment control.

You’ll manage all deliveries, ensuring these are cross checked against delivery notes/ purchase orders for accuracy.

You’ll ensure all items conform to any specified requirement and all relevant certification received with each consignment.

You’ll report any discrepancies/quality issues to suppliers and raise reject notes as appropriate.

You’ll advise the purchasing department of stock requirements.

You’ll ensure the accuracy of all recorded stock through appropriate systems and processes

You’ll ensure goods despatched to sub-contractors are controlled and recorded, both to and from supplier

Skills/Abilities:

Good knowledge of building materials and other goods needed to deliver responsive repairs

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; well-developed, ambassadorial, influencing, networking, promotional and negotiating skills.

The ability to create, agree and achieve ambitious outcomes that promote customer excellence, full statutory compliance and value for money.

The ability to make sound judgements, find solutions to complex issues and problems, and identify and manage risk.

A thorough understanding and commitment to ensure that all relevant health and safety statutory obligations are adhered to.

Access to a car and a valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites and offices across all regions will be a requirement for this role.
