A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within our Fostering Service working as a Senior Practitioner within the Connected Persons Fostering Support Team. We are looking for a person who has ambition that matches ours, to join us at this exciting moment, to be part of the Trust’s journey and help take us to the next level.

To achieve this we are looking for experienced senior Practitioner to come and join our us to ensure that our children receive high quality family based care with extended family.

Who we’re looking for ?
We are looking for experienced senior Practitioner who have experience within Fostering, Children in Care or Child Protection with a good understanding of our legislative and regulatory requirement to supervise and support connected person’s foster carers in their professional development ,ensuring that they provide high quality, safe family based permanent care through, through which children’s needs are promoted and outcomes are achieved.
You will have a high level of interpersonal relationship based skills, with an ability to work effectively with colleagues , partners , children and foster cares, whilst providing appropriate challenge ensuring that the child always remains and the centre of our planning and practice. Within this role you will be supervising Social Workers , lead on ensuring best practice ,learning and research is part of the learning team culture and deputise for the Team Manager.
You will be part of a supportive, dynamic, expanding service contributing to our service improvement journey to ‘Good’.
