We are offering an opportunity to play a central role in the work of WECA as we support the region’s recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. This work will build on the Covid-19 Recovery plan and Climate Emergency Action Plan to address the unprecedented challenges we now face. The successful candidate will work flexibly across projects liaising with colleagues across the organisation and in central and local government
You will have a broad knowledge of the national and regional policy agenda, with a keen understanding of how economic evidence shapes policy and strategy. Comfortable leading on a significant policy agenda, you will be able to use your strong negotiation and influencing skills to shape the policy agenda for the region.
