Surrey County Council is seeking to recruit two Contract and Business Support Officers to provide and coordinate efficient and effective contract and business support within the Public Health team. One is a permanent role, whilst the other is a fixed term contract for a minimum of six months to cover maternity leave.
The successful candidate will support both the effective management of Public Health contracts and the wider Public Health team by undertaking a range of business support functions, including performance reporting, financial tasks, meeting organisation and recording of minutes. As a key member of a progressive and supportive team of contract and business support staff, you will be confident in dealing with both internal and external colleagues as well as flexible and willing to travel as required.
To be shortlisted for interview for this role, your CV and personal statement should evidence the following:
- Good IT skills, including Office 365, Excel and database management systems
- Practical business support skills acquired through substantial previous work experience in a business environment providing support to staff
- Problem solving skills, including the analysis and interpretation of data
- Self-motivation with willingness to work as part of a team
