Model

Surrey Adult Learning provide a wide range of daytime, evening and Saturday courses and learning opportunities for adults. The provision includes leisure courses like arts and crafts and languages; qualification courses such as GCSE’s in English and Maths; classes which support those with learning difficulties and/or disabilities; classes aimed at parents/carers to help them support their children and improve their own skills; and an outreach provision aimed at vulnerable groups in the community who would not normally engage in any form of learning.

Surrey Adult Learning has seven centres across North and South West Surrey and is looking to appoint Models as a bank role for the Service, to pose either clothed or unclothed for Learners to draw, paint, sculpt or model in their classes.

Working in a classroom environment, candidates will be able to adopt and maintain poses under the supervision of an Adult Learning Tutor for specified periods of time ranging from 5 to 45 minutes.

Whilst athletic ability is not required, the ability of the candidate to have strong body awareness and be able to show the three dimensional qualities of the figure in poses is highly desirable.

Models will consult with Tutors on arranging resources for Learners to draw, including using costumes, lighting and other props for compositions and will assist in creating a good learning environment.

Please read one of our current Models experiences of being a Model with Surrey Adult Learning here.
