Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher

KS2 Intervention Teacher – Temporary Post

The Governors of St.Gregory’s Catholic Primary School in Lydiate are looking to appoint a qualified Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher to join our friendly, caring and committed team. The successful candidate should be able to inspire and motivate the children to reach their full potential, enabling our pupils to achieve high standards in all curriculum areas.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to identify groups of children from Key stage 2 who require additional support or challenge, and devise and tailor schemes of work to bridge gaps in learning. This person will have very good understanding of providing high quality teaching and learning and show absolute confidence in teaching the National Curriculum to support, stretch and challenge all age ranges at Key Stage 2.

As a Key Stage 2 Intervention Teacher, experience of the KS2 national curriculum is essential.

This is a 15 hour post, consisting of 3 hours per day during the school morning.

  • All successfully shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview, dates of interviews will be advised upon confirmation of successful shortlisting.

The successful candidate would be in post with immediate effect, or after any notice period which has to be given. The post would be offered upon receipt of a valid enhanced DBS and references being obtained.

The post would continue until 21st July 2021.
