Salary Range: M3 £43,857 to £46,845pa

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Deputy Team Manager in our East Herts & Broxbourne Adult Disability Team. The role will require you to assist the Team Manager to manage the day to day operations of the team. You will be a registered Social Worker, Occupational Therapist or Nurse.

The Adult Disability Service provides support to adults with a learning or physical disability.  Over the last year the service has undergone a programme of cultural shift to ensure a true delivery of personalisation and citizenship through our Connected Lives initiative. The role will be crucial in leading the team to develop and build community links and ensure full and innovative delivery. Through thoughtful care planning we strive for increased independence, choice and control by offering personal budgets to enable people to direct their own support. 

We are based in Stevenage however we encourage smart working with the benefit of a laptop and smart phone, so you have the option of working at home or at one of our touchdowns across the area.   

The role is responsible for ensuring that all statutory health and social care responsibilities are met and delivered to a high standard including safeguarding, assessment, supervision and care management functions.

You will be undertaking this role in a period of significant change and pressures placed on the delivery of social care. The role is part of an incredibly innovative and supportive service that strives to ensure that Hertfordshire people don’t just have their needs met but are listened to, supported to be respected and included citizens within our local communities.
