NELC are seeking an experienced schools HR Advisor who can effectively support the People Partners in delivering an efficient HR service to schools and the organisation.

What you need to know about the role
Your role will be to support the People Partner within Children and Family Services, working with schools and across Children Services. You will provide expert and professional advice to Head Teachers and managers on people issues to include attendance, performance, conduct and grievance organisational change. You will risk assess cases and provide managers with options on how cases can be managed.
As well as managing a complex mix of casework you will support managers to effectively navigate conflict situations to achieve resolutions, and foster positive working relationships with colleagues
In addition to the day to day management of your casework, you will also support the development and review of our Schools HR policies and practices.
What we need to know about you
Working in a fast paced environment, you will need to be able to make informed decisions based on factual information and have the confidence to handle difficult or emotional conversations and situations.
You will have the ability to influence and engage Head Teachers and managers across the schools and North East Lincolnshire Council through excellent verbal and written communication
You will have a generalist background with developed employee relations skills and preferential experience in complex cases.
You will be a self-starter who is flexible and adaptable to change able to tolerate ambiguity and be resilient.
