An enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative individual is required to join the Up & Active Service in Burnley. The successful applicant will be required to deliver exercise activities and Weight Management Programmes in a range of community venues. The role is part of the Active Lifestyle Hub for Pennine Lancashire.

You must hold a current Level 3 Exercise qualification and a Weight Management or Healthy Eating Certificate. Flexibility is vital as hours will include evenings and weekends.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual, who is able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

You will be responsible for supporting people on a group basis to aid weight loss and weight management through exercising and healthy eating as part of a healthy lifestyle. You will also be required to monitor and evaluate the project.

The Up & Active service has a number of dynamic lifestyle related projects that are fully integrated through excellent teamwork across Pennine Lancashire. Within this role you will work alongside the Up & Active Team and become involved in other initiatives and campaigns.

We are particularly keen to receive applications from individuals who have the vision, drive and desire to develop and deliver innovative projects in our communities.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual, who is able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

You must have experience of setting up and delivering programmes. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to create and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of partners.
