More about the role:
As a School Crossing Patrol Officer, you’ll play a key part in your community by assisting children to cross the road safely on their way to and from school, this is achieved by standing in the middle of the road and stopping traffic when the children arrive at your crossing point.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, has great communication skills and enjoys working with children. You’ll be happy to work outside in all weathers and prepared to take control of any situations that may arise involving drivers and their vehicles. You must be reliable and good timekeeping is critical. No previous experience or qualifications are required although you must be able to record details of any incidents that may arise. Uniform, equipment and training will be provided.
