Reading Borough Council is seeking an enthusiastic and tenacious Technical Assistant to be based in the Private Sector Housing Team.

 

 

About the role

As an urban area we are challenged with a large number of properties in the private rented sector in poor condition and a high proportion of licensable Houses in Multiple Occupation. 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Private Sector Housing Team to assist in the delivery of the Private Rented Sector Action Plan which will include you visiting residential properties and businesses. 

 

 

About you

  • You need to have excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Desire to improve the housing conditions in the Borough.
