Project Manager (5G Logistics)

Due to external funding we are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a seasonsed Project Manager to work within our Innovation and Sector Development Team on the delivery of our 5G Logistics sector focused project.

Are you an experienced project manager who has lead delivery in complex, technical environments?  Are you experienced in working with large consortium to deliver publicly funded research and development?  We have the job for you.  Our role offers an opportunity to lead delivery of an exciting 5G based research and development project in the West of England.

Working with a consortium of thirteen public and private sector partners, you will lead our £5.2m logistics sector focused project to ensure that it meets its milestones and deliverables and realises the benefits that we plan for it to bring to the region and wider UK.  You will also lead the consortium as it collaborates with other similar projects around the country, advocating and influencing at senior levels within our partnership and within central government departments.

You will need strong applied project management skills, experience of managing public funding and an ability to lead and take decisions on your own initiative.  In return, supported by your own staff and working within an experienced wider team, the role offers the chance to be involved in an exciting project that could have lasting impact on the regional and wider economy. 

Appointment to this post is fixed term until April 2022. Interviews will be held virtually from w/c 14th December.
