Assessment & Income Assistant - Adult Social Care

A key element of this role is to be the first point of contact and source of information on how the council charges for Adult Social Care support services. These are critical roles at the forefront of the service. Postholders will be required to explain the paying for care process, support residents to use the council’s online financial assessment and payment tools and to actively identify barriers to residents making regular payments of social care charges.

You will be required to coordinate visits for officers where necessary, answer general telephone and email enquiries and allocate more complex casework where necessary.

This is an administrative function, requiring the post holder to be flexible whilst offering comprehensive business and senior administrative support.

This role can be based in either Woking or Reigate at Woking Borough Council offices, Civic Offices, Gloucester Square, Woking, Surrey GU21 6YL or Reigate & Banstead Borough Council offices, Town Hall, Castlefield Road, Reigate, Surrey RH2 0SH.
