Due the retirement of the office administrator, the Governors of this popular, over-subscribed primary school are seeking to appoint an administrative assistant to work alongside the School Bursar in a busy school office.  The position requires a friendly, adaptable, approachable, efficient and computer literate individual who is keen to play a full part in a busy office and the wider school environment.

The successful candidate:

You will be a supportive and enthusiastic team member, with excellent clerical, organisational and communication skills.  Accuracy and attention to detail are a fundamental requirement of the post.  A sound practical knowledge of Word and Excel, and experience of inputting and manipulating data in an information management system (previous use of SIMS would be an advantage) is preferred.  A willingness to learn and the ability to assimilate new skills quickly are essential.
