Job requirements:

We are looking for skilled, motivated and committed applicants for the role of part time Premises Officer at our friendly school.

The successful applicant will possess a range of building maintenance, DIY and caretaking skills and show a commitment to maintaining the school and its grounds to the high standard expected, and always with the safety of our young children in mind. Relevant qualifications are desirable, but more important is a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude and a sense of pride in good workmanship. The successful applicant will need to possess the ability to be methodical and well-planned in the management of their workload, as well as having the ability to react to unforeseen situations and emergencies.

The hours worked will normally fall within the working day but the successful applicant will also need to be available to lock and unlock the building, by prior arrangement. The successful candidate may have responsibility for the security of the school building. This will involve a willingness to act as key holder for the premises and may occasionally result in security call outs outside of normal working hours.
